Past Pupils pay a Visit

p1020821It's always good to hear from our past pupils and today we welcomed back Megan Ennis, Roisín Clinton and Emma Derham. The three surprise visitors are members of the Westmeath Ladies U14 Football Team. The girls are proud of their recent victory in the Leinster Final against Dublin. They then went on to beat Tyrone in the All Ireland semi-final. Yesterday they played in the All Ireland final in Crettyard, Co Laois but unfortunately were beaten by a strong Waterford team. Congratulations girls and we wish you continued success in your sporting endeavours.

Cumann na mBunscoil Finals

Congratulations to our girls camogie and football teams who played in Cumann na mBunscoil finals this week in Cusack Park. First to take to the pitch on Monday was the camogie team. They played against Whitehall in what turned out to be a very tough and exciting game and  they emerged the winners.

Today was the turn of the footballers playing against Rathwire. This was another tough game and unfortunately they were beaten by a very strong opposition.

Well done to all the panel of players and their coaches.
