About Us




Situated on the Delvin Road beside St. Pauls Church, St. Colman’s National School is a Catholic co-educational primary school with a current enrolment of approximately 460 pupils. Established in 1979, here at St. Colman’s we provide a holistic education with a wide ranging programme of extra curricular activities enabling us to give the children a sense of self worth and value and to empower them to develop their individual potential as human beings.
To fulfil our wish to give each child a sense of self worth and value St. Colman’s is characterised as being a hive of bustling activity. On a daily basis, working in a positive learning environment staff and pupils are actively engaged with a varied and extensive curriculum
To achieve a high academic success the best possible range of teaching methodologies, resources and equipment and opportunities is employed. To enhance this learning experience a wide and varied programme of activities is provided, spanning the spectrum from creative arts through to the sporting arena.
