What a wonderful event organised by the children in Ms Ginnell's 4th class. After hearing the story of Oliver and his family the children were delighted to be able to help this family! They designed posters to advertise our Crazy Hair Day fundraiser (some examples below) and sent out flyers to all the families in the school.
Then the children went around to all the classes in the school and presented their fundraising day idea to all the children in St Colmans.
Finally on the day they delivered envelopes for fundraising collection, took some of the photos below and collected in and counted all the money! A wonderful and successful event organsied by the children in 4th class. A huge thank you to all the Mams and Dads for the effort with the hairstyles and the donations!
The family sent a personal message to the children to say a heartfelt thanks for their amazing efforts!
