The Junior Infants in room 8 had lots of fun learning about the lifecycle of the frog! Our learning experience was made all the more interesting when Seàn surprised us with tadpoles he and his dad had found on a walk in their neighbourhood. The children were amazed to see the real life tadpoles as they changed and developed into froglets. They learned how important it is to return them to their natural habitat to continue the next stages of the lifecycle from frogspawn to tadpole, then froglet and finally frog! Thank you to Seàn and his dad for enriching our learning experience and returning the tadpoles safely to their pond !
