On Friday morning Sixth Class collected their Junior Infant buddies to bring them outside for story time with some big books. The stories were The Mungle Flap, Whatever Next, The Spell Shell and Scat, Cat. Sixth Class read the stories and chatted to their buddies about them afterwards. Back in the classroom, Junior Infants drew pictures of their favourite part of the story. Next Junior Infants went back outside and each group presented their pictures and told the other groups a little bit about the story that their buddies had read to them. We all loved making use of the outdoor classroom.
