Safer Internet Day
11th Feb 2025
Today we celebrated 'Safer Internet Day' in St. Colman's. Mrs. Gilligan's 6th class delivered presentations to all classes from 1st-6th to discuss important topics to help us stay safe online.
Some of the key messages included:
-Always keep personal information private.
-Never meet someone that you only know online.
-If you see something online that hurts your feelings or makes you feel uncomfortable, tell a trusted adult.
-Never share photos of other people without their permission.
-Think before you type.
-Always be kind online.
Each child received an 'Internet Safety' wristband for the occasion.
All of the children learned lots of tips to keep everyone safe online.
Huge well done to all of the 6th class presenters, you were all amazing!
