The 1st of February is the feast day of St. Brigid. In the last few days we have been learning about her life and we made her special crosses in class. Today we went for a walk over to the well in Cullion, Mullingar which is said to be a place she visited in her life time. We said prayers for Brigid and we blessed our crosses with water from her holy well. We enjoyed our walk and we could definitely get the feeling of the Spring coming.
