For the past week, Mrs. Lyons' Junior Infants have been learning about signs of Winter and keeping a weather diary. We can report that it was a very frosty week!! On Tuesday we went outside to feel the crunchy frosty grass under our feet and on Friday we went for a walk to Beech Grove with our sixth class buddies. We loved seeing the bare trees and when we stopped chatting for a few minutes in Beech Grove we could hear lots of birds singing. We have set up some bird feeders outside our classroom and are hoping to see some birds next week.
