In fifth class we have been learning all about World War 1 in our history lessons lately and today we took a trip to the WW1 museum in county Cavan. We had a wonderful day and took a stroll through replica trenches with realistic sound effects. We got to try on soldiers uniforms and hats as well as hold some decommissioned weapons. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and learned lots of brilliant information.
