in respect of admissions to the 2024/2025 school year

The Application Form for Admission for the 2024/2025 school year will be available from the school office or to download from Monday 8th of January. Alternatively requests for an application form can be emailed to reception@stcolmansns.com.

PART 1 - Admissions to the 2024/2025 school year

Application and Decision Dates for admission to St. Colman’s N.S. for school year 2024/2025

The following are the dates applicable for admission to Junior Infants

The parish schools have a common period of taking and processing intake applications. This usually takes place in January/February of each year. Dates are decided at a meeting of Clergy and Principals in September of each year. The school will commence accepting applications for admission on	Monday 8^th January 2024
The school shall cease accepting applications for admission on	Friday 26th January 2024
The date by which applicants will be notified of the decision on their application is (This date must be within 3 weeks of the closing date for receipt of application or within 3 weeks of the application date for late applications)	Posted out on Thursday 1st February 2024
The period within which applicants must confirm acceptance of an offer of admission is	On or before Thursday 8^th February 2024

*Failure to accept an offer within the prescribed period above may result in the offer being withdrawn

Note: the school will consider and issue decisions on late applications in accordance with the school’s admission policy.

In respect of the 2023/2024 school year, the total number of applications for admission received by the school was 109
